Actually, I guess what you were trying to say was that every team in La Liga has a shot at 1st place with a few slip-ups…. right… do you know from 2nd to 3rd place there is a 9 point difference and from 1st to 3rd 19points?
10 points isn’t impossible but if you think there is a realistic shot of Valencia(19 points back) or Sevilla/Villareal (22 points back each) of having just a good a shot at 1st place like Real Madrid who’s only 10points back than you my friend are an idiot. There are only 15 games left.. so that means Barcelona would atleast need to lost minimum 7 or 8 of those game and Valencia, Sevilla, and Villareal win at least 8 or 9 of them to get to 1st place…. Yeah that’s going to happen!

No.
You have no idea.
What I'm saying is that every team in the world can use the excuse "yeah, but we just had a few slip ups. If we didn't we would have got 3 points against so and so when they scored off a deflection" etc. You can't use that.
Also, you have no chance of catching Barca, sorry, but they are quite superior to you.
Also lulz at you being an American who considers himself Spanish. Just like all the Italians, Greeks, Serbs etc down here whos dad was born over there, mum here but wears their Totti kit around and supports Italy when they play Australia even though they would nae know a thing about Italy/Greece/Serbia etc.
Gl though with everything, hope you enjoy having a Tottenham reject as a coach.

What? now that doesn't make any sense and is pointless. Real Madrid has a better record since Winter Break than Barca and who's using any excuses? Barca completely dominated the 1st half of the season but since Winter Break we've had a better record than Barca. I don't think catching Barca is an impossible task, as you put it.. and if you actually watched the Real Madrid vs. Barcelona game you would have seen despite having practically none of our regular starters available, we held Barca scoreless for nearly 80 minutes before we collapsed. Of course, Barca WAS superior at the time. Van Nistelroy was out, Heinze out, Mamadou Diarra out, Robben was out, Sneijder was out, but to say Barca is so much superior than Real Madrid at this point shows a total lack of knowledge. Yes, I live in America but I am a Spanish citizen. I have a Spanish passport, and a Spanish Identification card and BOTH my parents are from Spain. So yes, I am not like your gay little friends in Australia. I speak the language, visit Spain every year, and am a proud citizen of that country. Unfortunately, for financial reasons I am making a living here.

Thoughts on Platini's proposed salary cap?
A team can only spend the amount that he can generate through income.
In essence, I think a salary cap across European soccer would be a good thing, the only issue is drawing a line in the sand and saying at what point is too much and too little to allow soccer clubs to spend.
Practically, I think it will be impossible for it to be successfully implemented.

Yeah impossible plus won't go through the EU, its business.
Man City have fucked up the pricing of players though.
Was at a mates last night watching some football, trying to figure out players value etc.
"Before Man City value = 10 million pounds Post Man City value = 18 million pounds"

Yeah but it's arguable to say that Chelsea fucked it all up when Abramovich took over. Hell, even we could have been blamed for that back in the late 90s, and Real Madrid are known big spenders too. Either way, there's always going to be a lot of money in football.

This idea is retarded and wouldn't work for European futbol.

Hey James,
Madrid is up 6-1 in the 1st half against the same team Barca had to come back from 2-0 to tie 2-2 last week.
Barca is currently playing Espanyol, one of the worst teams in the league and Barca id down a man score is 0-0.
If this holds we could either be down 8 if Barca ties or 7 if they lose.
Now stick that leather jacket and shove it up your ass.
